It's Time To Get To Work.org is a site created and managed by the Tampa Bay Partnership.

The Tampa Bay Partnership is the regional organization focused on stimulating economic growth and economic development in the Tampa Bay area via corporate relocation and business expansion. Our diverse economy has matured into one of the leading job generators in this country while our enviable quality of life continues to attract wealth and investment. The Tampa Bay Partnership collaborates with seven counties and three metropolitan service areas with several key cities and is recognized as the convener of leaders on regional economic development issues.

Through our work, we have identified transportation as the number one issue impacting our regional economy. In 2007, the Tampa Bay Partnership led the advocacy efforts to create the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA). This government entity has the power to plan, build, operate and finance a regional transportation system.

Now, that we believe we have the right vehicle to solve our regional transportation challenges, TBARTA,  the Tampa Bay Partnership is focusing its advocacy efforts on supporting the new authority, educating the region on the importance of regional transportation solutions and advocating for public policy that supports and finances transit.

To achieve this goal, we have launched this campaign, It's Time To Get To Work.org (itstimetogettowork.org) with a mission to educate and engage the citizens and communities of Tampa Bay in a meaningful discussion on regional transportation.
